I recently took a trip back up to Schroon Lake, where my family has a cabin we’ve loved for years. It’s our go-to getaway spot—full of memories, quiet mornings, and way too many half-finished paint jobs over the years. This time, I was there for something a little different. A local family—who actually plows our driveway in the winter—reached out and asked if I’d photograph their crew, including their newest little addition. I was so happy to say yes. We ended up doing a shoot right in the heart of the Adirondacks, with three generations all together. It was relaxed, beautiful, and just really special to be part of. The light was perfect, the baby was adorable, and everyone made it so easy and fun. It’s always great coming back to this place, and being able to connect with local families through my work makes it feel even more like home.
